Tony Hill is a Solicitor with over 35 years’ experience in dispute resolution, professional negligence, and commercial litigation. He has acted in some of the UK’s most complex and high-value cases, including multi-million-pound and multi-party disputes.
Tony has held senior roles at leading firms such as Hill Dickinson, DAC Beachcroft, Ozon Solicitors, Bond Turner, and most recently CEL, where he built the practice’s first professional negligence and commercial litigation offering. His work covers the full spectrum of dispute resolution, including litigation, arbitration, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
Known for combining technical strength with commercial insight, Tony has represented private individuals, businesses, directors, shareholders and corporate entities in both professional negligence and commercial litigation contexts. He also brings deep knowledge of the insurance market, including policy disputes, fraud, and professional indemnity matters.
Notable cases include Miller v Irwin Mitchell LLP [2024] EWCA Civ 53 and D. Morgan Plc v Mace & Jones [2011] EWHC 26 (TCC).
